Critica scientifica, popolarizzazione dell’etnografia ed etica dell’antropologo: sulla “controversia yanomami”, per esempio*

چکیده
La “controversia sugli Yanomami” ha investito questioni centrali, tanto epistemologiche quanto etiche e politiche, per la disciplina pratica dell’antropologia, riguardando in particolare l’etica della ricerca sul campo; il modo di impiegare i dati sostenere determinate ipotesi teoriche; rapporti tra popolarizzazione politicizzazione delle ricerche e, più generale, responsabilità degli antropologi rispetto sia agli usi dei loro studi nella sfera pubblica nei confronti soggetti umani con cui lavorano. In quest’articolo esamino alcuni momenti chiave “controversia”. provo a ricostruire si è inizialmente consolidata, dentro fuori l’antropologia, l’immagine Yanomami come “ultima società primitiva” mettendo confronto le etnografie Chagnon Lizot. Nello scritto pongo rilievo anche diversi modi gli etnografi hanno marcato testualmente posizionamento campo “prova” dell’“autenticità” rappresentazioni del mondo yanomami. Nell’ultima parte, riassumo effetti che nell’antropologia statunitense avuto “tempesta mediatica” suscitata dalle accuse comportamenti eticamente inappropriati, quando non tutto esecrabili, rivolte Lizot Darkness El Dorado, libro-reportage giornalista free-lance Patrick Tierney.
